THE LOMDON GROUP is a commercial entity based in the Republic of Colombia that operates through its brands (Vertex and Lomdon) and its website www.lomdongroup.com ("the Site"), showcasing and selling its products ("the Products") for online purchase by consumers ("Clients" or "Users").

Scope of Application of the Terms of Use

These general terms of use of the Site ("Terms of Use") apply to all Product orders placed by Users. The applicable Terms of Use are those in effect at the time the User places an order.

Acceptance of the Terms of Use

By accessing and/or using the Site, the User acknowledges having read and understood these Terms of Use and agrees to comply with them, as well as with the applicable regulations in Colombia. Furthermore, when the User utilizes any service provided on the Site, they will be subject to the rules, guidelines, policies, terms, and conditions applicable to that specific service.

LOMDON GROUP does not guarantee that the content of the Site is appropriate or available for use in other locations, and access from territories where the content is illegal is prohibited. Users who choose to access the Site from other locations do so on their own initiative and are responsible for complying with any applicable local laws.

If the User does not agree with these Terms of Use, they are advised to refrain from using the Site.

Eligibility to Use the Platform

The services offered on the Site may only be used by individuals who have the legal capacity to enter into contracts, in accordance with Colombian law. If the User makes a purchase and/or issues an invoice on behalf of a company, they must have full capacity and authorization to do so.

THE LOMDON GROUP, in all cases, assumes in good faith that it is contracting directly with the Client or their duly authorized legal representative and does not accept responsibility for identity fraud.

Purchasing Requirements


To make a purchase, Users must register and log into the Site using an email account and a password chosen by the Client. This password is personal, non-transferable, and exclusively the responsibility of the Client.

Limitation of Liability

LOMDON GROUP is not responsible for damages or losses resulting from the misuse of information on the Site. The User understands and accepts that access to this tool and the use of its services and information are exclusively their responsibility.

LOMDON GROUP may modify the presentation and configuration of the Site, as well as its content and services, at any time and without prior notice.

Users must maintain strict confidentiality regarding their account information, including their identification number, username, and password. Any use of their password, such as inquiries, orders, or claims, is their sole responsibility, and they must not transfer or disclose it to third parties under any circumstances. Clients should take all necessary security measures to prevent unauthorized access. It is recommended that they change their password periodically.

In case of password loss, forgetting, or unauthorized access, Clients must use the password recovery link in the authentication section of the Site to retrieve or change their password via email. If they cannot resolve the issue, they should contact sc@lomdongroup.com.

Clients must use secure electronic devices and take the necessary security measures to prevent identity theft, fraud, unauthorized use of personal information, intrusions, viruses, spyware, and similar threats.

LOMDON GROUP assumes no responsibility if Clients fail to report unauthorized access or potential security breaches in a timely manner.

LOMDON GROUP is not responsible for any content that Users may add to the Site. It does not guarantee the accuracy, truthfulness, reliability, or timely updates of the information contained within this tool.

LOMDON GROUP is not liable for issues that prevent or disrupt access to the Site, including server failures, connection problems, communication interruptions, or technical difficulties. If using the Site results in the need to service, repair, or correct any equipment or information, the User bears all associated costs.

The liability of LOMDON GROUP is limited to an amount equal to the value of the purchased Products or, if applicable, the value of the requested Product.

Payment Information Security

Payments made through the website will be processed by PAYU, an online payment gateway. Users must provide accurate, truthful, and up-to-date information on the Site. If their details change, they must update them accordingly.

Our payment partner PAYU holds PCI DSS certification, ensuring secure credit card data management. Although LOMDON GROUP cannot guarantee 100% security, these systems have proven effective in protecting confidential information, making unauthorized access or data decryption difficult.

Ownership of Information and Content

All trademarks, logos, names, and other distinctive signs, including utility models, industrial designs, and other intellectual property elements displayed on the Site, are the exclusive property of LOMDON GROUP. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or public disclosure of any part of this platform is strictly prohibited without prior written consent.

The content presented on the Site, including informational, photographic, multimedia, and advertising materials, as well as the design of the Products sold, is exclusively owned by LOMDON GROUP. The use of such information is restricted to LOMDON GROUP or explicitly authorized third parties. Unauthorized individuals must refrain from extracting or reusing any information, and the reproduction or copying of published Product designs or any other proprietary content is expressly prohibited.

LOMDON GROUP Products
LOMDON GROUP provides Customers with a color chart on the Site, displaying available fabric, leather, and wood colors. This chart is as close as possible to the actual color of each material. While efforts are made to ensure accuracy, factors such as display settings, graphics cards, filters, or lighting conditions during product photography may affect color appearance. As a result, selected colors may have slight variations compared to the actual product, and LOMDON GROUP is not responsible for these differences. Customers cannot request a change due to errors in color selection. It is recommended that Customers base their selection on the provided material color chart.

The size of the photos does not necessarily represent the actual size of the Products. To check the real dimensions, refer to the specifications for each item. Product weight (Kg) is approximate; if more information is required, Customers can contact customer service at sc@lomdongroup.com. Any decorative or ambient elements shown in the photos are not included with the Products and do not form part of any offers.

Purchase Recommendations

Before making a purchase, Customers should review the dimensions of the Products and the spaces where they will be placed to ensure compatibility. Additionally, checking access areas such as building entrances, staircases, and elevators is recommended to avoid delivery issues.

​

Order Verification

All transactions conducted on the Site undergo an inventory validation process, payment verification, and personal data confirmation. Orders that do not pass this validation will be rejected. Customers will be informed via email about the results, and if funds have been debited, they will be refunded using the same payment method.

​

Product Delivery

The estimated delivery period ranges from 50 to 90 calendar days from order approval, as all Products are customized.

LOMDON GROUP charges shipping fees. Costs and delivery timeframes depend on the Client’s location. Rates vary based on product size, weight, and delivery destination. The website calculates shipping costs separately and provides estimates for major cities and most intermediate cities in Colombia, adding the cost to the total order amount. If a location is not listed on the website, Customers can contact sc@lomdongroup.com for a personalized shipping quote.

For Bogotá and nearby municipalities, shipping costs are not available on the website. After completing the purchase, an advisor will contact the Customer to provide a shipping estimate.

Shipping and transport costs are determined by independent carrier policies and pricing, which are outside LOMDON GROUP’s control.

Deliveries cannot be scheduled for an exact time. They are subject to weather conditions, traffic, and potential delays in prior shipments. Once an order is confirmed, LOMDON GROUP will coordinate the delivery. On the day of delivery, the Customer will receive a notification three hours in advance.

Delivery Information and Customer Responsibilities

Customers should provide accurate and detailed information, especially the delivery address. Before finalizing the purchase, verify all details, as modifications can only be requested via email at sc@lomdongroup.com. If a request involves changing the city or town of delivery, additional charges may apply. Customers will be informed of any price differences and payment instructions.

Customers must inspect the condition, reference, and quantity of the Products upon receipt. If any issues arise, they should contact customer service. If the packaging appears damaged, it is advisable to examine the Product in the presence of the carrier. If any defects or anomalies are detected, Customers should refuse delivery and return the Product with the transport service. Any inconsistencies must be recorded in the transport document. If no issues are documented, LOMDON GROUP will consider the Products received satisfactorily.

Product Inspection and Receipt

If the Client does not inspect the product at the time of delivery, they must notify LOMDON GROUP of any issues within 24 hours after receipt. After this period, claims regarding the delivery condition will not be accepted.

Products can be received and inspected by any adult present at the delivery location. A signature on the transport document is sufficient unless the Client expressly indicates during purchase that the product must be delivered only to them or an authorized third party.

If no one is present at the delivery site, or if the authorized recipient is absent, the order will be returned to dispatch, and the Client will be notified. The Client must contact LOMDON GROUP to reschedule delivery and cover the additional shipping cost.

​

If the Client refuses delivery for reasons unrelated to LOMDON GROUP’s responsibility, the shipping cost will not be refunded. Once the Products are received, neither the carrier nor third parties are authorized to retrieve them from the delivery address—except in cases of previously arranged returns or warranty processes with LOMDON GROUP.

If the elevator cannot be used due to size, weight restrictions, or unavailability, and the product cannot be carried up the stairs (up to the third floor), the carrier will deliver it to the ground floor.

Shipping costs will not be charged to the Client if the delivered Products do not match the advertised ones or if they arrive damaged.

LOMDON GROUP offers Clients the option to pick up their order from the Bogotá warehouse, in which case no shipping costs are added at checkout. Once the purchase is approved, an advisor will contact the Client via email to confirm pickup details, which will take place within 1 to 8 business days after purchase.

If the purchase is set for warehouse pickup, the Client has three business days to collect the order once it becomes available. After this period, a storage fee of 2% of the product’s value per day will be charged. To pick up the order, the Client must present their original ID and purchase confirmation. If a third party collects the order, they must provide their own original ID, a copy of the Client’s ID, a written authorization, and the purchase confirmation. Only original IDs are accepted—copies or loss/theft reports will not be valid.

Right of Withdrawal

Under Colombian law, purchases made online, including those on the Site, are subject to the right of withdrawal. This allows Clients to request a full refund and return the product within five (5) business days of delivery.

Returned products must be new, unopened, unused, with all original packaging, accessories, manuals, and tags intact, and no signs of modification. If assembly is required, withdrawal applies only if the product remains unassembled and in its original packaging.

Customized products are not covered by the right of withdrawal.

To initiate withdrawal, Clients must email sc@lomdongroup.com. Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for purchase.

Clients must return the Products to LOMDON GROUP in the same condition as received. Return shipping and related costs must be covered by the Client.

​

LOMDON GROUP will process refunds within 30 business days, with no deductions or fees.

Due to hygiene and sanitary regulations, items such as bed sheets, comforters, blankets, duvets, pillows, and cushions are personal-use items. Withdrawal does not apply if they have been used or removed from their original packaging.

​

Exchange Policy

LOMDON GROUP does not accept exchanges unless covered by the right of withdrawal or legal warranty.

No product returns or refunds are accepted except under withdrawal or warranty conditions.

Product Care Recommendations

General Care:

  • Do not expose indoor or covered outdoor furniture to direct sunlight or water.

  • Avoid high temperatures, moisture, or direct water exposure.

  • Use furniture only as intended—do not sit on armrests or backrests.

  • Do not place hot, cold, or wet items on wooden surfaces, as they may damage the finish.

  • Avoid standing or walking on the furniture, or subjecting it to excessive weight.

  • Keep furniture away from air conditioners, as they may cause deformation, discoloration, or cracking.

  • Ensure all exposed surfaces receive equal amounts of light to prevent uneven color changes.

  • Do not use brushes, sponges, detergents, solvents, or dirty cloths that might damage leather, synthetic, or fabric fibers.

 

Fabric Care

  • Vacuum frequently using circular movements with only the soft nozzle.

  • Remove stains with mild soap without water or professional cleaning—test on a small area first.

  • Use water-based cleaning products.

  • Avoid placing fabrics or materials on furniture that may stain or damage the fabric.

Leather Care

  • Clean the surface regularly to prevent dust, oils, and sweat buildup.

  • Hydrate leather using approved care products.

  • Do not place fabrics or materials on furniture that may stain or deteriorate the leather.

Glass Product Care

  • Avoid vibrations on furniture containing glass.

  • Do not place heavy objects on glass surfaces.

  • Clean glass with a soft, lint-free cloth.

  • Glass cleaner can be used, but avoid contact with wood to prevent discoloration.

Rug Care

  • Rotate rugs periodically to protect edges and wear distribution.

  • Avoid folding rugs to prevent deformations.

Chrome Surface Care

  • Clean chrome surfaces with a well-wrung cloth dipped in a mix of water and neutral pH detergent.

  • Immediately dry the surface with a soft, lint-free cloth.

General Notes

  • Natural color or texture variations in fabrics, wood, and other materials may occur over time due to usage and temperature changes.

  • Leather furniture may include non-leather interior linings for functional purposes.

  • LOMDON GROUP’s leather is 100% natural, handcrafted with waxes and pigments. Scars and color variations make each piece unique, with natural aging over time.

 

Quality and Warranty

LOMDON GROUP’s warranty complies with Law 1480, which defines how to claim it. Clients should review warranty conditions found on stickers, instruction manuals, packaging, or these Terms of Use.

​

LOMDON GROUP guarantees product quality within the warranty term, provided the item is properly used, installed, and maintained.

Misuse results in warranty loss. After expiration, Clients must pay for any diagnosis, repairs, or parts.

Warranty Terms

Leather or Fabric Furniture

  • 1-year warranty on leather for factory defects.

  • 1-year warranty on furniture fabrics (covered by supplier)—LOMDON GROUP processes fabric warranties.

  • 1-year warranty on wood defects or diseases.

  • 1-year warranty on furniture stability.

  • 1-year warranty on steel, iron, or chrome components.

Wood and Metal Furniture

  • 1-year warranty on material defects or workmanship (defects refer to imperfections that prevent normal use).

  • 1-year warranty on wood stability.

  • 1-year warranty on moving hardware.

  • 1-year warranty on joining/assembly hardware.

  • 6-months warranty on attached lighting (lamps, LEDs).

Lamps

  • 1-year warranty on electrical system.

  • No warranty on materials (preservation depends on installation environment).

Rugs & Decorative Accessories

  • Warranties directly provided by the manufacturer/supplier, but processed by LOMDON GROUP.

 

Warranty Exclusions

Product warranties are void in the following cases:

  • Repairs performed by unauthorized personnel.

  • Lack of maintenance.

  • Improper use or usage for purposes other than the intended function.

  • Visible damage: burns, scratches, cuts, intentional misuse, pet damage, or other inappropriate treatment.

  • Natural disasters.

  • Fabric, vinyl, seam, or coating wear due to natural aging.

  • Exposure to environmental elements such as rain, snow, humidity, dust, fire, or direct sunlight.

  • Contact with unsuitable chemicals.

Natural Material Variations

Certain natural materials, such as marble, onyx, wood, and fabrics, may have variations in tone, color, grain patterns, and embedded details that differ from the images displayed. These variations are accepted as natural and do not constitute manufacturing defects.

Warranty Exclusions

  • Short circuits and poor installations.

  • Any modification, alteration, or change to the original product or any of its parts voids the warranty.

  • Spilled liquids or food stains on rugs or other fabric products (handmade rugs must be dry-cleaned).

Warranty Processing

A product may be exchanged or refunded at the Client’s discretion, if within the warranty period, the same defect occurs repeatedly, required replacement parts are unavailable, or repair is impossible. If repair or replacement is not possible due to stock shortages, the Client may choose an equivalent product or receive a refund.

To claim a warranty, Clients must send the product to the LOMDON GROUP factory. Shipping costs for warranty claims and product pickup after service must be covered by the Client.

To request a warranty claim, the Client must contact LOMDON GROUP and request a technician visit to inspect the product. If the Client is in another city or country outside Bogotá, Colombia, they must submit photos or videos as evidence. The Client must also complete a form detailing the defect or issue.

 

Terms & Conditions for Promotional Activities

  • Discounts are valid until stock runs out. Each offer will indicate available discounted units. When the last unit sells, the listing will be removed from the Site.

  • Stock availability may change between the order placement and payment approval. If a product becomes out of stock after purchase, the Client will be immediately notified and can choose an equivalent product or request a refund.

  • Promotional discounts cannot be combined with other discounts, vouchers, or alliances.

  • Online promotions (www.lomdongroup.com) do not apply in physical stores, unless explicitly stated.

  • LOMDON GROUP may change prices or product listings at any time, but purchases already made will be honored.

  • Some promotional products may have manufacturing defects, imperfections, or exhibition/use damage. These conditions will be specified in the product description. By purchasing, the Client accepts these conditions and waives warranty claims for pre-announced defects.

 

Personal Data Processing Policy

LOMDON GROUP is committed to fair, lawful, legitimate, and secure processing of personal data stored in its information systems. The company follows the Personal Data Protection Policy, available at www.lomdongroup.com.

Clients, contractors, suppliers, employees, and third parties’ personal data will be processed according to this policy, allowing Users to access, update, or correct their data as permitted by Colombian law. Requests can be made via sc@lomdongroup.com.

The Site’s registration form collects personal data, including name, birthdate, email, physical address, country, ID number, and phone number. By completing the form or transferring information from social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Google+), Users give explicit consent for LOMDON GROUP and its commercial partners to collect, store, use, process, circulate, or delete personal data, following the company's policy.

Purpose of Data Processing

Personal data will be processed for:

  • Transactional activities and order fulfillment.

  • Customer inquiries related to products and services.

  • Market research and statistical analysis.

  • Updates on products, services, and special offers.

  • Computing services, customer support, collections, and similar activities.

  • Notifying Users of policy changes.

LOMDON GROUP will process personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the stated purposes or comply with legal and contractual obligations.

International Data Transfer

The User expressly consents to LOMDON GROUP transferring or allowing access to their personal data by third parties inside and outside Colombia, including countries with lower data protection standards.

If LOMDON GROUP requests sensitive personal data (race, ethnicity, political views, religion, biometrics), responding is optional.

Data Protection Measures

The Site implements robust security protocols, including:

  • Access control mechanisms (password protection, physical access restrictions).

  • Confidentiality policies.

  • Regular database backups.

LOMDON GROUP processes data in compliance with Law 1581 of 2012, Decree 1377 of 2013, and related regulations governing personal data protection in Colombia.
